Numerous admirers of inexpensive and exciting holidays in the resorts of Egypt followed with tension the resumption of tourist trips to the land of the pyramids. And these expectations and hopes can finally be crowned with success. As it became known, on February 3, a long-awaited meeting took place between representatives of the tourism departments of both countries.
In anticipation of the new tourist season and the influx of guests from Russia, they are already rubbing their hands, the Egyptian hotels that were frankly bored last year. Experts are convinced that guests of the resorts will receive excellent offers with very “tasty” discounts, which allows us to speak about the resumption of serious cooperation between the two countries in the tourism sector.
By the way, as soon as rumors began to circulate about the imminent return of tourist trips to the shores of the Red Sea, the demand for other destinations decreased by almost 30%. This was announced by the head of the tour operator "Natalie Tours" V.Vorobyov. He is convinced that tours to Egypt will appear in March and the demand for them will be simply colossal.
The representative of one of the Egyptian travel companies, which plays the role of the host, S. Zalivin, is convinced that the guests from Russia will receive better service at low prices. This is due to the fact that for the Russian traveler against the background of the economic crisis, it is the cost of accommodation in hotels that plays an important role. Competitors from Greece and Spain, which have already taken a number of effective steps to intercept the Russians, can also add fuel to the fire.
So, according to S. Zalivin, accommodation in a five-star hotel Sharm El Sheikh today will cost tourists only $ 20-30 per day. As soon as the market is fully open to Russians, it will be possible to speak safely about a 15-20% discount.
We will remind that the restriction of air traffic with Egypt was introduced after the bloody terrorist attack. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country's government was forced to take such radical measures in order to ensure the safety of its citizens. They promised to resume civil flights immediately after all the necessary mechanisms to ensure the safety of passengers have been developed.
